ARTS ET METIERS CAMPUS OF RABAT SIGNS AGREEMENTS WITH INDUSTRY FEDERATIONS

Four partnership agreements were signed in Rabat on Thursday, November 9, to enable professional federations to support the training and integration of students and graduates from Arts et Métiers campus of Rabat. The signing ceremony was attended by Ryad Mezzour, Minister of Industry and Commerce, Mehdi Sebti, Director of Arts et Métiers campus of Rabat, and the presidents of the partner professional organizations.

SUPPORTING THE CAMPUS IN ITS CHOICE OF EQUIPMENT

The Professional organisations include the Fédération Nationale de l'Electricité, de l'Electronique et des Energies Renouvelables ( Federation for the electricity, electronics & renewable energy industries), the Fédération des Industries Métallurgiques, Mécaniques et Electromécaniques,  (Federation for the metal, mechanics and electro-mechanical industries) the Association Marocaine pour l'industrie et la construction automobile ( Federation for the car construction  industry)and the Fédération automobile (Car Industry Federation)

The aim of the agreements is to help the four partners of Arts et Métiers campus in Rabat to define and select the equipment needed to set up its training programs, and to support the professional integration of graduates within the different ecosystems of the 4 Federations.

It will also enable the campus to co-construct a training offer tailored to the needs of each ecosystem, particularly with regard to Industry 4.0, in addition to welcoming and supervising Bachelor's/Professional License students on work placements in the workshops/factories of the Federations' member companies.

These agreements are perfectly in line with the guidelines of the new national industrial strategy, which places human capital at the heart of its priorities alongside innovation and sustainable job creation," emphasized Ryad Mezzour.

"The agreements we have just signed today will create a bridge between the Ecole Arts et Métiers de Rabat and the private sector. This will ensure that the school's training offerings are better adapted to the specific needs of industrial projects, strengthen the managerial skills of its students and graduates, and enable the school to be more open to cutting-edge technologies. This is the very foundation of our approach to building skills in industry", he added.
